What we require from you

It is vital that anyone who works with children either in a supervising or sole charge role has an enhanced DBS which is checked on the update service.
We ensure that all our nannies have the correct enhanced DBS.

We will require the following information in order to carry out a DBS check

The following information is required in order to apply for an enhanced DBS check:

– Proof of address – council tax statement, latest bank statement, utility bill
– Proof of identification – driving licence, passport, birth certificate
– Your National Insurance number
– If you have changed your name or surname, your birth certificate and other documents supporting
the change of name are required..
– An Enhanced DBS will check whether the applicant is included in the two DBS ‘barred lists’
(previously called ISA barred lists) of individuals who are unsuitable for working with children.
The cost to conduct the DBS check is £61.50 and candidates are required to enrol in the annual update
service as well.

DBS checks can take up to 60 days to be completed.
